Information technology forms the basis of an entirely new era in professional practice and delivery of services. The ICENCO conference is a major collaboration among researchers and practitioners around the world, and our ten year graduates Class of 2000 to discuss the major new frontiers in the information technology area, and to present cutting edge research in various fields within that area. This year’s theme aims at exploring potential ways to expand information society frontiers and deepen its role in enhancing human life in this era. Authors are kindly encouraged to include one paragraph along with their submissions as to show the impact of their work for the betterment of the Information society. Topics covered include but are not limited to: 1. Machine Intelligence and Web Applications Intelligent Agents, web mining, neural networks, computational intelligence, cooperative systems and rough set theory, Internet services and applications, wireless internet applications for distance education, e-commerce, e-government, security, adaptive human-computer interfaces, search engines, distributed databases and smart cards. 2. Communications and Computer Networks WireleWireless, cellular and mobile communications, ad hoc networks, high performance networking, intelligent networks, network design, control and optimization of communication systems, network reliability and quality of service, network analysis and management, optical systems, network security, and grid computing. 3. Image Processing and Computer Vision Image and video processing, data and image compression, computer graphics and visualization, and computer vision. 4. Computer Hardware and Embedded Systems Computer Architecture design, microprocessors, VLSI, parallel and distributed processing, Embedded systems, robotics , system simulation and testing. 5. Data and Software Engineering Software requirements engineering, software architecture and design, software testing and analysis, software processes and workflows, reverse engineering and maintenance, software tools, Database integration and interoperability, query processing and optimization, data structures, data warehousing and data mining. Full Paper submission starts by the first of February 2010 and ends August 31, 2010. Acceptance notification will be sent within two month of the date of paper submission so that submitted papers by the first of February will receive notification by the first of April. Authors are kindly requested to classify their submission into one of the above categories (1-5).
Within the framework of ICENCO2010 conference an
elearning tutorial will be held on dec 26 at 16.00 to 19.00. In this Tutorial
you will learn how to prepare your learning material to post it on the Moodle
CMS (Course Management System). You will be guided through basic functionalities
and utilities of Moodle such as exam generation, forums, announcements and
assignment submission. In addition more advanced tools will be shown and Moodle
advanced facilities developed by CUELC (Cairo University Elearning Centre) will
be demonstrated. At the end of the tutorial you will be able to effectively use
the moodle CMS, which is a free, open source system, for posting your learning
material and for interacting with your students. The cost of the tutorial is: 50
LE for conference participants and 100 LE for others.
